Timescales

Timescales for inquests are dependent upon the complexity of the individual case and might be affected by witnesses and legal representatives. The inquest will be held at either our Stoke or Stafford Courts as soon as possible.

Your assigned Coroner’s Officer will keep you informed throughout the inquiry, advise on timescales where possible and notify you of the venue, date and time for the inquest.
