Coroner’s Officers

The Coroner is assisted by a team for Coroner’s Officers who carry out investigations on behalf of the Coroner and are the point of contact for the deceased’s family and other interested persons in the case. 

Case Progression Officers

The Coroner is also supported by a dedicated team of Case Progression Officers who deal with listing inquest cases and assisting the HM Coroner in the courtroom.
